I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Andy and I (mostly Andy) miraculously managed to enjoy a full, sit-down thanksgiving dinner together. We took a chance to reflect on what we are thankful for; the gift of our little girl, Josephine Rose, and the celebrations we have been able to spend with family over the course of the last year definitely toped our lists.  Throughout the last year I did a lot of traveling for weddings, bridal showers, family gatherings and visits with friends. After not being able to do much in 2020, it was a year making up for lost time. When traveling to a new city or just visiting a familiar place, I like to commemorate the trip with some kind of token. I’m not a trinket person by any means so I’ve landed on collecting coffee table books that have become thoughtful layers in our home (see my previous post about creating layers in a home). Local old bookstores are wonderful to browse and often have some hidden gems. The books I’ve collected have become great styling elements. I can tell the story about why I got them and I can remember the trip or event they represent. Below are some of my favorite I’ve collected this year that also provide great inspiration for interior design projects. I also keep an up to date shop page where I continue to add new books.
