Welcome to a New Year, my friends! Unplugging a bit from social media during the holidays is always good for my soul. It allowed me to be fully present with my family and take a minute to reflect on my intentions for the upcoming year. Andy and I talked about our intentions for the future now that things are settling down the intensity of new born life. One thing that is on our hearts is to be more ethical in our purchases. We want to support business that are good for people and good for the earth. While this won’t be practical for every aspect of our lives, I’m excited to learn more about the business out there and what it will look like in our home. I’ve been looking into more vintage furniture purchases, fair labor standard clothing and furniture companies, and homemade cleaning products.
